Benton County Fair Foundation - $525

For a project involving 4-H members in com-piling an oral history of the Benton County Fair

Benton County Historical Society  - $925

To preserve film by conversion to DVD and to establish a multimedia exhibit at the Museum in Philomath

Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center - $500.

To assist in activities for Black History Month, February 2007

Chamber Music Corvallis - $700

To assist in bringing the Amelia Piano Trio for a residency at Alsea School

College of Philomath Community Corp. - $900

To help complete the restoration of the tower on the building

Corvallis Community Band - $600

For performances outside Corvallis in Benton County

Majestic Theatre Management - $600

To start an adult reader’s theater project in the County

Marys River Watershed Council - $500

To bring artists and performers to its biennial event (link to photos)

Oregon Crafted - $250

To provide a workshop for Benton County artists

OSU Holocaust Memorial Week - $750

For performances by Bag & Baggage Productions of the North American premiere of “Just One More Dance” during OSU Holocaust Memorial Week, April 2006

Philomath Public Schools Foundation - $250

To assist in the rehabilitation of the stage at Blodgett School

Tcha Tee Man Wi Storytelling Festival - $700

To allow storytellers to go into Bento County schools during the 2007 festival

The Coalition had a total of $8,500 available for grants to projects in the arts, heritage, and humanities in Benton County in February, 2006.
